| There remains a need for an open source, freely
distributable Power Systems Analysis tool. The construction of such a tool has, however never been fully pursued. This is partly due to the scale of the project. There are no pre-existing open source tools to carry out the low level calculations. This project aims to provide an extensible suite of libraries which whilst usable in their own right, are suitable for use by projects interested in producing fully featured power systems analysis software. At this point, there is no source code available, but the project is in its infancy. Any interest from developers would be welcomed. |
